Food shortages in Kiev due to Russian attacks are terrible
In August and September, the Russian military targeted and damaged the warehouses and logistics centers of all major supermarket chains in Ukraine, including Silpo, ATB, Novus, and Fora, according to Taras Vysotsky, the Ukrainian Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, in an interview with The Guardian. He emphasized that this recent wave of attacks is “the most massive since the beginning of the large-scale invasion.” Additionally, warehouses for medicines, including some owned by the World Health Organization (WHO), have also been affected, as reported by The Moscow Times.
