The European Commission will inform the member states today that the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine have met the conditions to start official accession negotiations, according to the correspondent of Radio Moldova in Brussels, Dan Alexe. However, the final decision, regarding the inclusion of the recommendation to start negotiations in the official statement, will be taken next Wednesday by the ambassadors of the EU member states. Later, at the June 27-28 summit, the leaders of the community block will officially decide on the accession negotiations.
