Ministry of Education asks IGP to examine information that appeared online about the sale of Bac tests
The Ministry of Education and Research and the National Agency for Curriculum and Assessment have investigated reports that have appeared online about the alleged sale of tests for the national graduation exams. The institution condemns any practices that violate the principles of integrity in the process of assessing students.
In a press release, the ministry says it has sent a request to the Inspectorate General of Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to examine the suspected case of fraud that appeared on social media and was covered in the press.
The institution states that the baccalaureate tests are kept under maximum security, which prevents unauthorised persons from accessing the tests applied in the national graduation exams or leaking information about the exam subjects.
The Ministry and the National Agency for Curriculum and Assessment urge graduating classes, parents and teachers to be fair and honest during the 2023 exam session and not fall prey to scams.
The 2023 Baccalaureate session will take place from 2-20 June in 93 Baccalaureate centres. Around 18,400 candidates are taking part in the session.
