Report on the execution of the state budget in 2022, approved: Energy security and social protection, among the priorities
The Government's report on the execution of the State Budget for 2022 was approved in today's Parliament session. Under the document, the 2022 budget year was marked by numerous challenges, especially due to the war in Ukraine. Thus, the policy priorities of the Executive were directed towards maintaining macroeconomic stability and financing anti-crisis economic and social measures.
The most important policies were ensuring the energy security of the country, social protection of the population, especially vulnerable people, as well as supporting the business environment, reads a press release of the Legislative.
"Thanks to the strengthening of the dialogue with the development partners, by increasing the external assistance granted to our country in 2022, the Government's efforts to overcome crisis situations were achieved simultaneously with the strengthening of the resilience of the state institutions", reads the report.
According to the decision adopted by the Parliament, following the hearing of the report, the revenues of the state budget in 2022 were realized in the amount of 59.247 billion lei, and the expenses - in the amount of 68.573 billion lei, with a deficit in the amount of 9.325 billion lei.
Thus, the income section was achieved at the level of 99.8% compared to the provisions, and the expenditure section - in proportion to 92.7%.
