Border Police: 42 people were refused entry to the Republic of Moldova within one day
The General Inspectorate of the Border Police announces that it prohibited the entry into the Republic of Moldova for 42 people during the day of July 17. In total, at the border crossing points, the flow of people constituted 64,666 crossings, a larger number being recorded in the direction of entry from the Republic of Moldova – 36,532 crossings.
The border was crossed by more foreign citizens - 36,858, and the number of crossings by Moldovan citizens was 27,808. "With reference to the crossing of the border by the citizens of Ukraine, a total number of 14,400 crossings were recorded, of which 6,967 were in the direction of entry into Moldova. At the same time, the number of 2,984 were the crossings of Ukrainian minors", reports the Border Police.
The most "active" border was with Romania where 40,164 crossings were recorded, 13,611 crossings were reported at the Moldovan-Ukrainian border and another 10,891 crossings by plane.
At the same time, in the last 24 hours, the border police registered several contraventions, including violation of the regime of the crossing points, a forged travel document, illegal trafficking of goods, violations of the rules for using the vignette and use of vehicles.
