The draft law of the State Budget for 2023, voted in the second reading. How the money will be spent
The State Budget next year will focus on economic recovery measures and sustainable growth reforms. At the same time, the main expenses will be directed to the social sector. Deputies approved today in the second reading the draft State Budget Law for the year 2023.
The main expenses that were found in the draft budget for the year 2023 are:
- granting compensations for the payment of energy bills, with a fund to reduce energy vulnerability in volume of 5 billion lei; - granting the monthly increase for budget workers, in the amount of 1,300 lei; - granting the compensatory payment to people whose monthly salary will be less than 4,000 lei; - realisation of the First House program; – the START programs for YOUNG PEOPLE and PARE 1+1; - ensuring the increase of financial norms for feeding children and students in educational institutions; - increasing scholarships for pupils, students and athletes; - supporting the activity of theatres, circuses and concert organisations and others.
The draft state budget law for the year 2023 is based on an economic growth of 2%.
Income from grants to the state budget next year is expected to amount to 5.5 billion lei, which is 8.5% of total revenues.
In 2023, the revenues of the state budget will constitute 64.9 billion lei, 9.3% more than the income specified in the current year, and the expenses will be 83.2 billion lei, higher by 12.5% . The state budget deficit of 18.3 billion lei will be covered from internal and external sources.
