Moldova 1 features 15 people from different walks of life in "The Country is Us" Project

The Moldovan public broadcaster Moldova 1 has launched a new project called "The Country is Us" to mark the 32nd anniversary of the country's independence.

The project features 15 people from different walks of life who share their stories and the values they promote. One of the participants is artist Eugen Gorean, who painted 50 paintings that were given to the 50 presidents, prime ministers, and high-level officials from the European Union who attended the recent European Political Community Summit in Moldova.

Gorean's works are exhibited not only in Moldova, but also in France, Italy, Portugal, Great Britain, Russia, the United States, China, and Taiwan. They can also be found in European public collections, including the European Parliament and the French museum in Uckange.

"I am proud that Moldova is considered part of the great European family and European civilization," Gorean said. "I hope that one day Moldova will become a full member of the European Union and that many new opportunities will open up for our citizens."

The "The Country is Us" project is part of Moldova 1's efforts to promote national unity and pride.
