The Republic of Moldova and Switzerland will collaborate in the field of work and employment
The Republic of Moldova will collaborate with Switzerland in the field of work and employment. A memorandum to this effect was signed during the visit to the respective country by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Alexei Buzu.
The purpose of the memorandum is to establish a basis for the signatory parties to undertake cooperative activities in the field of labor and employment of mutual interest at national and international levels, to deepen mutual understanding of the systems, to promote decent work and to to contribute to the progress of the economies of the signatory states, reads the relevant Ministry in a statement.
The source also mentions that the main areas of cooperation are labor legislation, including international law, labor relations and social dialogue, working conditions, labor inspection, as well as labor market policies.
Also, the collaboration framework will include exchange of information and best practices, meetings, seminars, cooperation and capacity building projects, joint studies, joint initiatives within the multilateral organizations in which the signatories participate, etc.
