Second round of local elections// CEC ordered the recount of ballots in eight localities in Moldova

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) ordered the recount of the ballots for the election of the mayor in some localities in the country, following the second round of the general local elections on November 19, 2023.

Thus, the ballot papers will be recounted in the town of Chiștelnița, Telenești district, Dobrușa commune, Șoldănești district, Pepeni commune, Sîngerei district, Coteala village, Briceni district, Speia village, Anenii Noi district, Lipoveni commune, Cimișlia district, Țibirica commune, the district Călărași, Raspopeni village, Soldănești district.

The ballot papers will be re-counted by November 26, 2023, and the results will be communicated to the CEC by November 27, 2023.
