Chisinau International Airport resumed its activity: Planes land and take off normally
Chisinau International Airport is back to work activity. According to the institution, starting yesterday, November 26 from 21:00, until now, the flights land and take off normally, with small delays.
"Currently intensive work is being done on processing the runway with a special solution, a fact that contributes to the braking capacity, which provides the possibility for aircraft to land and take off without restrictions or any limitations in actions. At the same time, in the perimeter of the airport, the surfaces were cleaned at an intense pace in order to give passengers the opportunity to have an easy passage to the terminal. Thanks to the team, which side by side, got involved in the snow removal work and showed professionalism and self-sacrifice for to ease the activity of the Chisinau Airport", reads the information note of the institution.
We remind you that, yesterday, November 26, due to unfavorable weather conditions, several flights were cancelled. Airport officials worked nonstop to keep the runway ready for takeoffs and landings. Meanwhile, dozens of people were stuck at the Airport with nowhere to go.
