Romanian Parliament is debating the resolution regarding the European perspective of the Republic of Moldova
Romanian deputies and senators will debate and adopt, during today's meeting, a resolution regarding the European perspective of the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, Georgia and the Western Balkans, informs Agerpres.
The draft resolution is proposed by PSD senator Titus Corlățean. The document reiterates full support for the advancement of the European integration of Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova and Georgia, and supports the adoption of a positive decision by the European Council for the opening of accession negotiations for the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine to the European Union.
The European Council will meet on December 14 and 15 to examine this topic as well. We remind you that on November 8, the European Commission recommended the start of negotiations with the two states.
