On the occasion of Romania's National Day, Prime Minister Dorin Recean and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Nicu Popescu, sent congratulatory messages to the Romanian people.
The Head of the Executive said that today, we celebrate the Romanian language, values, culture and lasting historical ties that unite the two banks of the Prut.

For his part, the head of diplomacy from Chisinau said that the Republic of Moldova is grateful to Romania for its constant support and the projects implemented in our state.

From the construction of roads and bridges to the renovation of kindergartens and schools, Romania has been and is always with us, contributing to the sustainable development of our communities", he said.
The minister added that Chisinau appreciates the essential role that Romania plays in our process of joining the European Union. "Happy Birthday Romania! May our partnership continue to grow and strengthen, bringing lasting benefits to everyone!" said Popescu.
