Students will have winter vacation for 17 days
Pupils from schools will have a winter vacation of 17 days. The children are due to return to school on January 9 next year. This was announced by the head of the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sport, Andrei Pavaloi, during the weekly meeting of Chisinau City Hall
Andrei Pavaloi mentioned that the first semester of the school year ends on December 22. In the current week, which is the last week before the holidays, the students are being trained on life and health safety. Also, festive activities take place in the context of the winter holidays.
The Head of the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sports said that during the mentioned period only students from primary and secondary education have a holiday. Kindergartens will continue to operate, except on public holidays, as will extracurricular educational institutions.
