Moldovan citizens will receive support from the state upon returning to the country. "Diaspora" national program for 2024 - 2028, approved by the Executive
The national program "Diaspora", for 2024 - 2028, was approved by the Executive. Its purpose foresees the creation of a support unit for citizens of the Republic of Moldova upon returning to the country and stimulating the involvement of the diaspora in various fields.
Also, a mechanism for the return and employment of Moldovan graduates and students from foreign universities is to be developed.
"By 2028, the Government aims to improve the quality of projects and initiatives in the country by capitalizing on the expertise and knowledge of our citizens from the diaspora, which will lead to increased competitiveness and innovation in various sectors," reads the statement.
The program also includes an Action Plan that establishes the medium-term objectives and the activities to be carried out at the national level for the active involvement of diaspora members in the public policies implementation.
