Residents of Chisinau will pay less for heat

Chisinau residents will pay less for heat. The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) approved, during the meeting of December 22, the tariff of 2774 lei/Gcal (without VAT) for the thermal energy delivered by "Termoelectrica", by 493 lei less than the current price.

We remind you that, currently, the residents of the capital pay a tariff of 3267 lei/Gcal (without VAT).

The decision enters into force on the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Deputies meet in a new plenary session. According to the agenda approved by the Standing Bureau, the Parliament is to ratify an agreement that provides for Canada to offer a loan to the Republic of Moldova in the amount of 120 million Canadian dollars, the equivalent of over one and a half billion lei. The money will be used to strengthen the resilience of households, including refugees, but also to support climate resilience and the transition to green energy. On the agenda is also a project to adjust the national regulatory framework with the provisions of the European Union legislation regarding contracts for the supply of digital content and digital services. At today's meeting, the appointment of some members of the Superior Council of Magistracy is also planned. These are Sergiu Băieșu and Tatiana Tabuncic.
