Moldova producers harmonise: Caroling & Charity mark Chisinau holidays
In a unique melding of tradition and philanthropy, local producers in Chisinau, Moldova, serenaded their community with Christmas carols while collecting donations for two families in need.
This annual initiative, aptly titled "Carol & Give Back," embodies the festive spirit while fostering community support.
"By combining the joy of carolling with a call to action, we aim to remind everyone of the importance of generosity and kindness during the holidays," stated event organiser Stela Babii. "We encourage supporting local businesses and extending that support to those facing hardships."
This year, the carolers directed their efforts towards assisting two families raising twins. The festive market brimmed with free food and beverages, further enriching the community spirit.
"Sharing our blessings during this season of abundance can significantly impact those facing challenges," emphasised Vadim Eleni, a participating caroler. "We hope to bring joy and a helping hand to those in need."
The initiative resonated with visitors, eliciting positive feedback and admiration.
"This tradition beautifully blends festive cheer with practical support," said one attendee. "It embodies the true spirit of the season, encouraging both local business patronage and helping those less fortunate."
