More than 600 thousand Ukrainians have entered the Republic of Moldova since Russia invaded their country, according to the official data of the Border Police. Almost a third crossed the Moldovan-Ukrainian border on foot.

Among them, a good part were children, more precisely - 198 thousand. More than 83 thousand Ukrainian refugees remained in our country. The facilitated regime for crossing the border from Ukraine to the Republic of Moldova, established after the Russian invasion, is valid until February 1. According to the updated information of the United Nations Organization, 8 million Ukrainians temporarily settled in Europe, the majority in Poland - 1.5 million, and in Germany - just over a million people.
