Most of the schools and kindergartens closed after the heavy snowfall will resume their activity tomorrow
Most early childhood education and primary, secondary and high school institutions will resume their activity tomorrow, January 11. Half of the 1002 schools and kindergartens closed during the day yesterday started their activity today, according to the Ministry of Education.
Also, four schools in the country conducted online lessons. These are from the municipality of Chisinau, Telenesti and UTA Găgăuzia. In all, 758 children from these schools participated online in the educational process.
Another 367 students from the institutions that activated were connected to lessons online due to icy roads. They are from Cantemir - 49 students, Dondușeni - 52, Hîncești - 30, Ștefan Vodă - 34 and Sîngerei - 202.
During today, January 10, 532 institutions were closed.
The decisions regarding the extension of the students' winter vacation were adopted in all cases by the Commission for emergency Situations at the district or municipality level following the heavy snowfall. The leaders of the educational institutions will organize the recovery of hours according to an institutional plan.
