The Border Police has a new acting deputy chief
Andrei Trofimov was appointed as acting deputy head of the General Inspectorate of the Border Police, reads a press release from the institution. The source notes that he has "vast experience in the field of police activity". In particular, Trofimov will handle special investigations and prosecution.
"Mr. Andrei Trofimov is firmly committed to making substantial contributions to the development of border activity," reads the statement.
We remind you that at the end of last year, Ruslan Gălușca was appointed as head of the General Inspectorate of the Border Police, by a Government decision. The position became vacant after the former head of the IGPF, Rosian Vasiloi, resigned.
