Fire at NATO Center in Chisinau
A fire broke out on the evening of February 7, 2024 at the NATO Information and Documentation Center in Chisinau, which is located on the campus of the Moldova State University (USM).
Radio Moldova sought to contact Liliana Pușcașu, the spokesperson for the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) for more details, but she did not answer the phone.
However, according to the press, two fire crews intervened at the scene and extinguished the flames at around 7:10 p.m. Pușcașu told the media that the fire harmed two doors, causing no injuries. The cause and circumstances of the fire will be officially investigated.
