Two men, aged 54 and 52, respectively, died from the flu virus, the Ministry of Health informs. According to the source, the last case refers to fluron - co-infection of the virus that causes the flu and the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Both cases, registered on January 13, were notified to the National Agency for Public Health (ANSA) and are in the process of examination.
The Ministry of Health reiterates, in this context, that the risk of infection with influenza and other acute viral respiratory infections can be reduced by observing preventive measures, such as: avoiding crowds; wearing a protective mask, especially in public transport, other crowded places; respecting the distance from people showing respiratory symptoms; periodic airing of the rooms; observing hand hygiene, cough and sneeze etiquette; flu vaccination.
