Moldova Invests in European-Style Future
Moldova's construction is not a one-day process. It takes time and requires the involvement of every citizen, Prime Minister Dorin Recean said today at a press conference entitled "The Government Builds".
The Chief Executive made a balance of the infrastructure projects that have been implemented, and which he said have been blocked for decades.
"We will succeed in building a Moldova that looks European from North to South, in the smallest villages and the largest cities, only if the whole country lends a hand. The Government is doing its part of the responsibility and is building throughout the country, but it depends on each of us to get involved, each where he - to do our job well and to work honestly," said Dorin Recean.
The official also said that in the last 2 years 850 infrastructure projects have been completed or are in the process of being completed, and another 500 will be completed by the end of the year. Dorin Recean referred to roads, water and sewage networks, renovation of schools, kindergartens and cultural centres, construction of street lighting and modernization of hospitals.
"These figures may seem abstract; however, they mean thousands and tens of thousands of concrete people, families, and students who have better living conditions," Dorin Recean said.
We would like to point out that on March 14, at the plenary session of the Parliament, the Annual Activity Report of the Government of the Republic of Moldova will be heard.
