'First and foremost, we demand that the Russian Federation cease terrorist airstrikes against the Ukrainian population and territory, bring an end to the war, and address the country's internal issues,' stated Pawel Wronski, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement.

On Sunday, the Polish military announced that a Russian-launched cruise missile targeting western Ukraine briefly breached Polish airspace.

'For approximately 40 seconds, 'one of the cruise missiles launched during the night by the Russian Federation's aviation... violated Polish airspace,' reported the operational command of the Polish armed forces.

'The object entered Polish airspace near the village of Oserdow (east) and remained there for 39 seconds,' the source specified, emphasising that the missile was tracked by military radars throughout its flight.

Following this incident, 'all necessary procedures have been activated to ensure the security of Polish airspace,' the operational command of the armed forces added in its statement.
