A new fire at the "Liviu Deleanu" Lyceum in Chisinau
The students of the "Liviu Deleanu" Lyceum in Chisinau were evacuated again, after a fire broke out inside the educational institution. According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU), the fire broke out inside an auxiliary room on the second floor. As a result of the incident, no one was hurt.
According to the cited source, two teams of rescuers and firefighters were sent to the scene.
"Students and teaching staff were evacuated urgently, and the fire was extinguished by the employees of the lyceum with the help of primary means of intervention, before the intervention of the rescuers", informs IGSU.
The cause and circumstances are to be determined.
