25% of the total number of tickets in the rest camps for children will be paid by the Government in full
The government will cover the full cost of 25% of the total number of tickets in the children's rest camps, and the rest of the tickets will be sold at an 80% discount. The Cabinet of Ministers approved in Wednesday's meeting a decision regarding the organization of rest for children and teenagers in the 2024 summer season.
The free tickets will be distributed to children in difficulty, those left without parental protection, children from disadvantaged families and those from large families. Also, children with disabilities, children of war veterans, refugee children, as well as students with academic achievements or winners in school and extracurricular Olympiads will benefit from free rest in summer camps.
Also, the Ministry of Education and Research will purchase 533 tickets for students from general education institutions in the eastern districts of the Republic of Moldova and the city of Bender, subordinated to the ministry.
The document stipulates that the preparatory work for rest camps will be completed by May 15, 2024, and for day camps - by May 25. The estimated cost for a day spent at the rest camp is about 357 lei, and at a day camp - 280 lei.
