The body of a person was found in an apartment in Chisinau, which was engulfed in a fire. According to the rescuers, the incident happened this afternoon in a block of flats on Dumitru Râșcanu Str. 4.
The call to Service 112 was received at 15:22. According to the first information presented by the General Police Inspectorate, the fire engulfed the balcony of an apartment on the 4th floor. Three teams of rescuers intervened, and in about half an hour, the fire was extinguished, but during the intervention in the kitchen of the home, it was detected a deceased person.
According to IGSU, in the last 24 hours, firefighters and rescuers intervened in 74 risky situations. The cause and circumstances are yet to be determined.
