The flu killed another person in the Republic of Moldova
Another death from the flu. A man from the capital died due to complications caused by influenza type A. He was also infected with COVID-19. The announcement was made by the head of the General Directorate of Medical and Social Assistance, Boris Gîlca, during the weekly meeting of the City Hall.
According to official data, last week, in Chisinau, 141 cases of flu were registered, including 88 children under the age of 17.
"Last week, 4,381 cases of acute respiratory infections were registered in the territory of Chisinau, less than the previous week, when we had 5,272 cases. The statistics of the most affected groups have changed. If until now it was for children, now over 50 percent return to adults", declared Boris Gîlcă.
Moldova 1 reminds its viewers that, until today, the influenza virus has caused the death of four people in the Republic of Moldova.
