Census // Prime Minister Dorin Recean was questioned: "I did my duty as a citizen, I encourage you all to participate"
Prime Minister Dorin Recean joined today, June 2, the more than 2 million citizens questioned in the National Population and Housing Census. In a message published on social networks, the Prime Minister urged citizens to actively participate and provide dair information to the reviewers.
"I did my duty as a citizen and today I answered the questions asked by Angela, reviewer in the national census. I encourage all of you to actively participate and provide correct information to the reviewers. Only together, we can build a better and more prosperous future for all citizens", said Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
We remind that the Census of population and housing is carried out until July 7. The collected data will provide essential and necessary information for the economic and social development of the country. About 2 million 50 thousand people and over 1 million 400 thousand homes have already been reviewed, until May 26, according to the data of the National Bureau of Statistics. The census takes place once every 10 years, being the most important national statistical exercise that provides the complete demographic picture of the country.
The last Census took place in 2014 for over two weeks.
