Termoelectrica requests a reduction in tariffs for thermal and electrical energy
The tariff for thermal energy, produced by Termoelectrica, could be reduced by about 141 lei, and electricity could cost 30 bani less. A request in this regard was sent by S.A. Termoelectrica to the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE).
Thus, the tariff requested by Termoelectrica is 1997 lei for one gigacalorie in the case of thermal energy and 218 bani for one kWh in the case of electricity.
Currently, the thermal energy tariff paid by consumers in Chisinau is 2,138 lei/Gcal (without VAT) for one gigacalorie. For the electricity produced by the heating power plants of S.A. "Termoelectrica", consumers pay 2.48 lei/kWh.
