Director of the "Joc" ensemble, suspended from her position, after several dancers were caught dancing with Ilan Shor in Saint Petersburg

The director of the National Academic State Ensemble of Folk Dances "Joc", Aliona Strîmbeanu, was suspended from her position after several dancers of the national ballet were caught dancing the hora with the fugitive oligarch Ilan Şor and the representatives of his affiliated parties, in Saint Petersburg. The information was confirmed for Teleradio-Moldova by the person in charge of the information and communication service with the mass media at the Ministry of Culture, Liuba Lupașco.

According to the Ministry of Culture, the director was suspended from her position during the investigation. Moreover, the verification of the activity of the Joc ensemble was ordered.

"Following the participation of some employees of the National Academic Folk Dance Ensemble "JOC", with an artistic program, outside of the established work relations, in the Economic Forum in Saint Petersburg - the ministry started a process of verifying the activity of the ensemble "Joc ", for this purpose a Verification Commission was established. Also, the Ministry of Culture started an official investigation regarding the acting general director of the ensemble, Aliona Strâmbeanu", said Liuba Lupașco.

We remind you that previously, the Minister of Culture described the situation as "serious and inadmissible". He then announced that an investigation was initiated to determine how these young people came to play the game of politicians.

We remind that the autonomous non-profit organization "Eurasia" published on June 6, on social networks, video images of the fugitive oligarch Ilan Șor, the head of Gagauzia, Evghenia Guțul and Natalia Parasca, the leader of the "Renaissance" party, dancing the hora together with the "Joc" dancers.
