The support granted to the Republic of Moldova is among the topics on the agenda of the European Council meeting, which takes place on Thursday and Friday in Brussels.
The discussions take place in the context of the challenges arising from Russia's war against Ukraine, as well as about the path of the Republic of Moldova to become a member of the community space.
At the start of the meeting, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reiterated that "every European nation that shares common European values should be part of the European family."
This is true both for Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, but also for the peoples of the Balkans and Georgia.
