Moldovan and French driving licenses will be mutually recognized
Citizens of the Republic of Moldova settled in France will be able to convert their driving licenses. In this sense, the Executive approved the signing of an agreement between the governments of the two states.
Under the document, the need to take a theoretical and/or practical test in the process of converting permits will be excluded. Thus, Moldovan citizens in France will be backed and road traffic between the two states will be facilitated.
The Republic of Moldova has already signed six treaties on the mutual recognition of driving licenses with Turkey, Lithuania, Italy, Albania, Spain, Greece and a joint declaration of intent with Germany, regarding the transcription of driving licenses.
