Emotional visit to the children's hospital in Kiev, which was attacked by the Russians
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his wife Olena paid an emotional visit to the Ohmatdit Hospital in Kiev, which was badly damaged by the Russian army's shelling. The leader from Kiev had the opportunity to talk with the children who are being treated in the medical institution. The images captured during the visit show that the kids were visibly delighted by the presence of the presidential family.
The meeting of the presidential couple with the children was marked by strong emotions. Every look exchanged and every smile brought to the children's faces represented a ray of hope in a reality shadowed by Russian attacks. The children, despite their injuries and suffering, were charmed by the presence of the guests, and played with the leader from Kiev. One of them hugged him.
During the visit to the Ohmatdit Hospital in Kyiv, President Volodymyr Zelensky and his wife received a special gift from the hospital's employees.
Afterwards, both the little patients and the medical staff took a picture with the presidential couple.
We remind you that at the beginning of this month, the Russian army attacked several cities in Ukraine with missiles, including the Ohmatdit children's hospital in Kiev, the largest medical center for children in Ukraine. At the time of the attack, approximately 700 children were hospitalized in the medical institution. As a result of the attack, one child died and eight others were injured. At the same time, two adults died. Ukraine's attorney general, Andrii Kostin, asked the International Criminal Court to try Russia, which has denied it was behind the attack.
