Moldovan and Romanian Energy Regulatory Agencies have signed the action plan for 2023

ANRE of the Republic of Moldova and ANRE of Romania signed on Friday in Chisinau the Action Plan for 2023 between the two institutions in accordance with the Cooperation and Assistance Programme signed between the parties in 2019. The delegation from Bucharest was led by Dumitru Chiriță, chairman of the National Energy Regulatory Authority.

Following this visit and on the basis of the signed document, mutual working visits and online meetings with regulators' specialists will be organised from February to December 2023.

"Colleagues from ANRE Romania will provide more information on monitoring compliance with prohibitions by energy market participants on insider trading, monitoring of natural gas and electricity markets in terms of compliance by participants with obligations on disclosure of inside information and prohibition of market manipulation, experience of monitoring wholesale gas and electricity markets at regional level", reads a press release published by the National Energy Regulatory Agency of the Republic of Moldova.

According to the source, the action plan will contribute to boosting the exchange of information and consultations on issues related to the implementation of the EU acquis communautaire by ANRE, as well as the adoption of best regulatory practices.
