European leaders visit Moldova to boost integration efforts

Throughout September, several high-ranking European officials will visit the Republic of Moldova.

According to a government statement, these visits are intended to emphasise the support of Moldova's partners for the country's path toward modernization and European integration.

On September 4th, the Polish Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, will arrive in Chișinău. He will be welcomed by his counterpart, Dorin Recean, after which they will hold a bilateral meeting, followed by an extended session with delegations from both countries.

During his visit, Prime Minister Tusk will also meet with the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, and the Speaker of the Parliament, Igor Grosu. In Parliament, Tusk is scheduled to deliver a speech during a ceremonial session.

The next official visit is set for September 12th and 13th, when the Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Luc Frieden, will visit Chișinău.

On September 16th, the Republic of Moldova will host the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
