Searches in Fălești and Bălți: Drugs worth about 300 thousand lei were seized
The officers of the "Nord" Investigation Directorate of INI, jointly with those of the "Nord" Patrol Directorate, carried out between January 31 and February 3 this year 17 authorized searches of seven residents of Fălești district and Bălți municipality, involved in keeping and transporting "marijuana" type drugs.
Following the actions taken, in Balti the police stopped a car in which three of the seven suspects were. Following the narcological examination, it was established that the driver was in a state of narcotic intoxication.
The suspects are between 29 and 50 years old.
According to the law enforcement officers, the value of the drugs seized on the black market is about 300,000 lei.
