The 1,500 tablets offered by the People's Republic of China will be distributed as a priority to educational institutions that have a larger number of students integrated from refugee families from Ukraine, said the Minister of Education and Research, Anatolie Topală. He also said that these devices will facilitate the access of Ukrainian students to studies.

"Though the Republic of China is far away, in record time this technique was brought to the Republic of Moldova. This support comes to encourage principals to facilitate children's access to education as much as possible, including using these devices as efficiently as possible," said the minister.

Recently, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Moldova found out that Ukrainian students are facing difficulty studying at a distance due to the lack of technical equipment. Thus, the decision to provide tablets to help the children was urgently coordinated, said the Ambassador, Yan Wenbin.

"We found out that the Ukrainian refugee students face difficulty studying at a distance due to the lack of technical equipment. We hope that all these products will help children to study online," said the ambassador. According to the Ministry of Education and Research, in the Republic of Moldova there are more than 43 thousand refugee minors from Ukraine, of which 1165 children were included in the study process.
