Ukraine attacks: No impact on Moldova's power grid
Moldelectrica reports that no electricity consumers in Moldova have been affected by the recent attacks in Ukraine.
Should any changes occur, Moldelectrica will provide updates to the public.
Large-scale missile and drone attacks occurred in several Ukrainian cities overnight and into the morning of November 17th, including Kyiv.
As a result of the attacks, authorities in Odessa reported that both electricity and water supplies were cut.
The Vinnytsia regional administration, as cited by the BBC, reported that power supply was interrupted following strikes on critical infrastructure.
In the Rivne region, a critical infrastructure facility was targeted, and power and water supplies are expected to be restored gradually.
Energy infrastructure was also damaged in the Volyn region, which Russia targets less frequently than other Ukrainian regions.
In the Lviv region, debris fell on garages. Emergency power outages were also implemented in the Poltava and Chernihiv regions.
