The gala award ceremony is set to take place in Paris on 27 February and the three will be voted for by national team coaches, captains, journalists and fans.

Prizes will be awarded for individual and collective achievements between 8 August 2021 and 18 December 2022.

Karim Benzema won LaLiga, the Champions League and the European Super Cup with Real Madrid, and his season was also completed with the "Ballon d'Or".

Lionel Messi achieved his dream and won the world title in Qatar with the Argentina national team. The Argentine also took the French title and the French Super Cup.

Kylian Mbappe won the Ligue 1 title and the French Super Cup, but also - and most importantly - was the top scorer at the World Cup in Qatar, where he scored a hat-trick in the final against Argentina.
