Romania passes bill allowing drone destruction in airspace
Unmanned drones that illegally cross Romania’s state border and enter national airspace without authorization may be destroyed or neutralized if their flight cannot be controlled by Romanian military forces or NATO, reports Agerpres.

A bill to this effect, initiated by Romania’s Ministry of National Defense, was passed on Wednesday by the Senate Plenary, which is the decision-making body.
In the same plenary session, the senators also approved a bill regulating the conduct of military missions and operations on Romanian territory during peacetime, without requiring the declaration of a state of emergency.
The senators from AUR, S.O.S., and POT once again voted against both bills, just as they did last week in the Chamber of Deputies, where they strongly opposed both pieces of legislation.
