The US president rejects China's initiative for peace in Ukraine
US President Joe Biden rejected China's initiative to negotiate and conclude a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine. A statement to this effect was made by the leader of the White House in an interview for ABC. Joe Biden claims that that plan only benefits the Russian side.

Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, China has apparently refrained from providing such military aid to Russia, but according to sources inside the US intelligence services it is now inclined to take such a step. According to such sources cited by CNN, the government in Beijing intends to supply Moscow with drones and ammunition. Any massive deliveries of Chinese ammunition to Russia would risk tipping the war in Ukraine, a high-intensity conflict characterized by high ammunition consumption, in Russia's favor. The Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, quoted by Digi 24, signaled that the Ukrainian army consumes several times more ammunition than the Alliance states can produce, whose ammunition stocks have also been significantly reduced following the military aid provided to Ukraine. And Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has asked Beijing not to supply arms to Moscow. However, Zelensky pointed out that any peace plan that does not include a total withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine is unacceptable to Kiev. However, China's initiative, which is not an actual peace plan, but merely lists 12 principles of action, including a ceasefire, the resumption of peace negotiations, the formation of a balanced security architecture, respect for sovereignty, rejection of the use of nuclear weapons, etc., does not include the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine.
