Border Police: 21 people were banned from entering the Republic of Moldova
The General Inspectorate of the Border Police informs that, during yesterday, for 21 people, the refusal to enter the Republic of Moldova was applied. The state border was crossed by 38,530 people, a larger number being recorded on the way out of the country - 19,941 crossings.
The most requested crossing points were those at the border with Romania - 20 416 crossings. At PTF Leușeni, over seven thousand crossings were recorded. The border with Ukraine was crossed by 11,443 people and another 6 671 crossings were registered by plane. "With reference to crossing the border by the citizens of Ukraine, a total number of 9 374 crossings were recorded, of which 4 702 - on the direction of entry into Moldova. Also, the number of 1 101 constituted the crossings of the Ukrainian minors ”, reads the statement of the Border Police.
