Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office confirms: more evidence has disappeared from a case against Veaceslav Platon
The Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office confirms the information that has appeared in the public domain regarding the disappearance of several pieces of evidence from a case against Veaceslav Platon, pending before the Buiucani Court of Chisinau. According to a press release issued by the institution, it concerns some CDs with audio and video material.
Law enforcement officials say that the evidence in question is relevant and conclusive in confirming the guilt of Veaceslav Platon, who is involved in three criminal cases, investigated by anti-corruption prosecutors.
Veaceslav Platon fled the country in the summer of 2021. He is wanted internationally and magistrates have issued a warrant for his arrest.
