Foreigners married for 10 years to citizens of Romania to get Romanian citizenship. The Bucharest authorities amend the Citizenship Law
Romanian citizenship may be granted, upon request, to a foreign person who is married and has been living abroad with a Romanian citizen for at least ten years, writes Agerpres. The Senate from Bucharest adopted and amended, on Tuesday, in plenary, as the first Chamber notified, a project to supplement the Citizenship Law. The amendment was proposed by the PSD senator Robert Cazanciuc, adopted by the Legal Commission and appropriated by the plenary session of the Bucharest Senate.
