Moldovan-made Japanese desserts wow EU consumers
Japanese desserts produced in the Republic of Moldova and exported to the European Union are the result of entrepreneurs inspired by mochi, a traditional Japanese cake. This dessert has been adapted; the sweet red bean paste typically used by Japanese chefs has been replaced with a fine cream, specifically a combination of mousse and ice cream.
