Moldova to face Poland in must-win European Championship qualifier

The national football team of the Republic of Moldova will play a decisive match today with the Polish national team in the qualifiers for the 2024 European Championship. The match in Warsaw will start at 21:45 and will be broadcast live and exclusively on Moldova 1.

This year, the commemoration is held under the theme "Light a candle for the victims of the Holodomor. In the fight for Ukraine, support the soldiers." A commemoration was also held in Chisinau, where participants spoke about one of the worst national catastrophes - the organized famine - which claimed millions of lives.

Over 79,600 Romanian citizens cast their right to vote, by this time, at polling stations opened for the first round of the presidential elections taking place over three days. At the 59 polling stations opened in the Republic of Moldova, 12,600 citizens voted today. Most Romanian citizens voted at polling stations opened in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland - over 11,500, Germany - 10,300 and in Italy about 10,000 people.
