The weather is changing: a southern cyclone will bring precipitation to the entire territory of the Republic of Moldova
The weather changes radically in the Republic of Moldova. On Saturday day and Sunday night, the territory of the country will be crossed by a southern cyclone that will bring precipitation, the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) informs. There will be isolated heavy rain in the southern and central areas, while in the north the precipitation will turn to sleet.
„During the cyclone, there will be wind gusts in most of the territory. After it passes, the wind will blow in a moderate way”, SHS specifies .
On Monday, November 20, the temperature will drop to -1..-6°C.
In this context, the elected mayor of the capital Ion Ceban announces that the municipal services are already in the field to intervene in case of necessity. At the same time, he urged citizens to avoid high-risk areas of flooding as well as not to park cars under trees.
