Congestion at PTF Leușeni-Albita. Drivers shall choose other crossing points
The General Inspectorate of the Border Police announces that at this time there is increased traffic at the Leușeni-Albita border crossing point, on the way out of the Republic of Moldova and into Romania.
Border officials are urging travelers to choose another nearby border crossing.
"We urge travelers to opt for PTF Leova-Bumbăta, it opens at 8:00 a.m. and is functional until 8:00 p.m.," the Border Police press release states.
In order to streamline the movement, the border authorities announce that they have supplemented the number of employees in the first control line, opened additional control tracks and direct the flow on the reverse tracks.
Also, the border police officers coordinate the actions with their colleagues in Romania.
