A group of Danish MPs will come to Chisinau. They will have meetings with the country's leadership
A delegation from the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Denmark is visiting Chisinau, between November 29 and December 1. Danish parliamentarians will also pay a visit to Ukraine.
At the Parliament, the Danish deputies planned meetings with the Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, with the president of the Foreign Policy and European Integration Commission, Doina Gherman, and with the members of the commission.
The agenda of the visit includes a meeting with the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, as well as discussions with some members of the Government - the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Nicu Popescu, and the Minister of Justice, Veronica Mihailov-Moraru.
During the visit, several current topics will be addressed, including the security situation in the region, Moldovan-Danish cooperation and the European path of the Republic of Moldova.
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Kingdom of Denmark were established on January 20, 1992.
