Ruslan Gălușca is the new head of the General Inspectorate of the Border Police

Ruslan Gălușca was appointed as head of the General Inspectorate of the Border Police. His candidacy was approved today during the Government meeting.

Ruslan Gălușcă has been active within the IGPF since 2009, at the moment he is head of the Border Surveillance Directorate. He studied at the Military Institute of the Armed Forces and the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova.

Also, Gălușcă participated in training both in the country and abroad.

We remind you that the position of head of the IGPF remained vacant, after the Government approved Rosian Vasiloi's resignation request at the beginning of November.

The Council today adopted, by common accord with the President-elect of the Commission, the list of persons whom it proposes for appointment as members of the Commission until 31 October 2029, reads the press release of the Council of the EU. The decision will now be sent to the European Parliament for approval.
